Second Chances

I am happiest when I’m creating and producing…. when I’m doing something good for me and for others.

So I decided to make things…make things from what I would normally throw out…from things others donated….from things that had prior lives (love that term). I give them second chances (my first choice for the name of the etsy store and blog.) Don’t get me wrong. I love new things too but lately, I’ve come to like things when they’ve been given second chances. I try to reuse as much as I can without losing style or being too hokey. Why buy new materials when there’s so much that can be reconfigured, redesigned, remade and reused? I wash all previously owned items before I work with them so you are getting a clean product. Some items are made with new accessories and trims. But I try to upcycle as much as I can. And I’d like to think that I’m contributing a little bit to save this planet for my kids and their kids by not creating more stuff from new resources but from renewing the ones we already have.

If you’d like to try any of my creations, please check my new store, ecogeneration on etsy. I am trying to list as fast as I can but I am still learning how to upload everything. So please check back frequently. I may surprise you.

At this time, I only take PayPal. I know it’s a pain but creating an account is easy but you have to confirm your address (for shipping) and be a verified paypal member (that means you are a real paying person). If you have any questions about my creations, please e-mail me.
