I’ve always done art in some form since I was a little kid and am really enjoying the metalsmithing part of my life. I mostly work with copper because I like the warm earthy look it gives to a piece of jewelry. I love being able to take a hard, cold piece of metal and turn it into something soft, warm, and organic. Most of the copper that I use for my jewelry comes from scraps from local heating places…make them eco-friendly!
Each piece of jewelry that I make is one-of-a-kind. I give careful thought to what works and what kind of feeling each piece has.
