Save money while saving the environment

March 30, 2009

I’m sorry it’s so late in the day but I had no electricity today as it’s been windy and we’ve been having kinda weird weather pattern since yesterday. But you’ll like this post as it’s about saving money AND the environment.

You know how my Mom and Mother-In-Law inspired me to be a recycler? Well, they might have always reused and recycled things because they were being frugal and not necessarily being environmentally conscientious but guess what? Many of us are doing just that these days because of this depressing economy. In searching for ways to spend less and be eco-friendly, I found so many websites and blogs that cover this topic. I particularly like this lawyer who is trying to save money so that he can pay off his enormous student loan. (Click here for 180 money saving tips) Some of the tips are so easy to do AND environmentally responsible. And check out this tip on saving money on BPA Free Stainless Steel Water Bottles from “Never Pay Retail Again” This website is very popular among stay at home moms but I think we can all use some of her tips.
