Eco-Friendly Shipping

In an attempt to make my shop appear little bit more quaint but eco-friendly, I decided to use stamped paper tags to attach to my items when I ship. But I didn’t want to order custom printed virgin or recycled paper tags that I’d have to reorder all the time. I wanted to use my own ink and stamp them. So I ordered a stamp from a shop on Etsy called Terbear Collectibles. After numerous correspondences with the very patient owner to design a perfect stamp, she tweaked her existing design and came up with the perfect tamp that I’m really happy with. She even threw in an extra surprise with my stamp. The stamp came in a little cotton bag that I’ll use to keep the stamp. What a clever idea.

Then, I had to find the perfect paper tags to stamp them on. I looked into making my own paper tags but I’d have to learn the new process and who has the time? After perusing Etsy for a while, I found handmade paper tags made by Claudia’s Creations. I think they are very unique. Not every tag is the same. They all have different pigmentations. The edges are raw and natural. Again, the owner answered many of my questions through correspondences and I ordered two different sizes. She also included some samples. Love surprises.

So here they are ……..my new tags. With my upcycled envelopes and these new tags, my shipment will be totally eco-friendly and very functional.
