All the photos I am featuring are taken by me and the idea is to depict the beauty that surrounds us, to tell a story, to send a message, and to share my personal perspective of the planet earth.
This is actually in my neighborhood. I pass by this reservoir everyday and I am always awed by the lush greenery, clean water, and the natural habitat it provides for so many animals. The picture from last week's Word Wednesday is also taken from this reservoir.
Glad you like it, Jaime, and thanks for stopping by.
I live about 45 minutes North of NYC. I visit there often so I know what you mean by buildings and cars – the concrete jungle. I definitely prefer this type of jungle.
Jenn and Lolo, Thanks for stopping by. You know what the irony is? At first, I didn't notice this beauty. I only complained about the winding road that made me nauseous as I drove around it. But then, one day, I noticed a pair of swans on the water and all of a sudden, I "saw" the surroundings and it took my breath away. So, now, I don't complain about the winding road anymore. I purposely go slower so that I can appreciate the beauty…and to look for the swans.

Yeah, I envy you. Sometimes I feel to sick of buildings and cars.
