Favorite color?
Cobalt blue

Favorite meal?
Sushi rolls. It’s like eating tiny artwork.

City break or weekend in the country?
I live in the middle of the city so a country weekend sound like a good change of pace.

Soaps or documentaries?
Documentaries. I love seeing people in a different light.

Bath or shower?
Showers due to time constraints, but there is nothing like a hot relaxing bath after a long day…

Dress or jeans?
I’m all about comfort….jeans

Your favorite material?
Recycled paper… There’s always a lot laying around, it’s cheap, easy to work with, and versatile. Plus, people are always shocked and intrigued when I say “I make jewelry out of paper”.

What brought you to Etsy?
I was visually drawn to Etsy. I love the Etsy home page. They always choose quality work and display the best photographs. I’ll make it one day! :)

Tell us about your shop.
To make my jewelry I mainly use recycled materials (paper, plastics). I use magazine ads that are colorful, vibrant, and pop.

How is your shop eco-friendly?
I use recycled magazines to make paper beads and recycled water bottles to make the bottle bangles. I also use found objects and up-cycled beads and stones from old unwanted jewelry.

Do you sell anywhere else?
Sometimes I attend local festivals here in Miami. I also sell at bluemoon147.crobbies.com and to friends and family through word of mouth.

What’s the favorite item you’ve made so far?
I love making the water bottle bangles. I especially love the “Chromatic Water Bottle Bangle”. It is so colorful and fun and inspired by the beautiful sights of Miami. It was even featured in the V&A museum “Find, Make, Wear” page.

What has been the most useful lesson you’ve learned (about Etsy) so far?
You must take amazing photographs in order to get noticed, and you must upload new items all the time in order to make sales. It’s a lot of work but it’s also a lot of fun.

How do you see your store developing?
I have yet to make a sale and I think it is probably because I need to upload more items more often, but I’m very optimistic. The more I expose the shop to others the more traffic I will get. So tell your friends :)

Lovely work! Those bangles are so neat!

These features are a great way to keep up with what team members are creating and learn a wee bit about them – thanks for doing them!
