Green Gift Giving Tips

I know you have at least one or two people on your list that you have no stinking clue what to give this Christmas. They probably have everything and whatever they need, they can buy for themselves. Like your Uncle Bob or Aunt Ellen. What do you give to those kinds of people?

How about sending them on a vacation where they can volunteer to work on an organic farm in South America?

No? They are not the get-your-hands-dirty type?

Then, how about sending a cow in their name to a poor family in Africa so that they can use the livestock to farm their land to sustain themselves?

Or how about adopting a rainforest in their names?

There are so many green gifts you can choose from. And most of the organizations will allow you to print e-cards to give to the recipients. So, you don’t even need to buy a Christmas card!

So, what type of green gifts are you giving this year?

I’d love to hear your ideas.

I found stuffed toy kitties for my kiddos that are made from upcycled wool from * Marjji.etsy.com. (And SOOOO cute I’m not sure I can give them away!) Also found awesome toy catapults for my godsons that are made from left over scrap wood from cabinet shops from WoodToyShop.etsy.com. I’m trying very hard not to preplay with these catapults!
