Ojolie Animated eCard Review and Giveaway

GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED

I am really excited about this review and giveaway.

For the first time last year, I sent my Christmas cards and letters via e-mail.  Let me just say this though. I love sending out Christmas cards. It is a tradition in my family where my kids sit and address the envelopes, lick the stamps, and we run to the post office the next day together. Well, those days are over and my kids are too busy with finals and papers right before their Christmas break so I no longer have helpers. And to do everything by myself last year was too overwhelming because I started my Etsy shop and my blog. And when I looked into sending eCards, I didn’t find any I liked last year so I literally sent my “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year” message with a Christmas letter attached. In some ways, I felt guilty not sending cards that they can hang and display but when everything was done in less than an hour, and without all the work that went into sending cards, I was relieved.

So you can imagine how delighted I was when I received an e-mail from an up and coming eCard website owner. This eCard company called Ojolie is so unique. All the images are hand painted and animated. That’s right! They are hand painted artwork and not just some computer graphics program generated cards. And the cards are in four languages – English, Spanish, French, and Dutch. The annual membership to join is $10 and it is so inexpensive when you think about how much a greeting card costs. There are free eCards, holiday cards, birthday cards, and they are adding new ones.

I sent some Hanukkah cards this weekend and I loved the animations. They are truly unique.

I am still not totally convinced about sending Christmas eCards as sending and receiving Christmas cards are such a tradition during the holidays but sending eCrads does save a lot of trees, is more economical and is a huge time saver.

Ojolie is giving away two winners memberships for one year worth $10 each. Even if you sent out your Christmas cards already, this is such a great way to send last minute cards, to the ones you forgot to send, for birthdays and other occasions too for a full year.
