What brought you to Etsy? Tell us about your shop.
A friend of mine turned me on to Etsy a few years ago. I found it to be a great venue and a good fit for me. My shop focuses on repurposed and reusable items I make including dolls, decorations, and housewares.

How is your shop eco-friendly?
I repurpose familiar items and hope it makes people look at them in a new and greener way. Whether it’s cardboard packaging, plastic shopping bags, vintage sewing patterns, or lost gloves, I’m always making something new from something used in an effort to green our lives.

Do you sell anywhere else?
1000Markets, Big Cartel, Artfire.

What’s the favorite item you’ve made so far?
The Plarn Totes are my favorite. They always get a great reaction at craft shows and I love the process of making them.

What has been the most useful lesson you’ve learned (about Etsy) so far?
Excellent product pics are paramount to success on Etsy. I am constantly learning and working to improve my shots.

How do you see your store developing?
I am interested in acquiring more wholesale accounts and I would like to continue to do custom orders. It’s fun to see how people use their imagination with my products and make a personal connection to them.

What have you been doing today that I’ve interrupted?
Making a Poster Sketch.
