Feltsassy is the first feature of 2010 and I love what she does with felted wool. Feltsassy carries beautiful hair bows, brooches, fingerless gloves (great for this winter freeze we are having) and more. And many of her items are on sale now. So let’s learn a little about the artist behind these pretty functional accessories.

What’s a dress…I have 2 kids.
Your favorite material?
Wool felt, hands down! I have some cashmere that i can’t wait to start working with. Once loved old sweaters are my favorite, i love to give them a new life.
What brought you to etsy?
I have always loved doing arts and crafts and thought it would be fun to share some of the things i make. When something interests me i immediately want to know how to make it and learn as much about it as i can. I am also thinking of opening another etsy store for beads and jewelry. Etsy is the place to me for handmade!!
How Is Your Shop Eco-Friendly?
My shop is eco-friendly in that i am using sweaters that were once loved and re-purposing them into something new. I can’t stand to throw any part of it away so you will see i use even the smallest pieces.

What has been the most useful lesson you’ve learned (about etsy) so far?
It has a great community filled with very helpful people.
