Hi Eco Karen,
Love your little notebooks. I find little precious books like this are perfect for affirmations, gratitude, logging extraordinarily sweet and beautiful events in life.

For your blog header, I highly recommend that you talk to Caroline at the Bingham Diaries (http://www.thebinghamdiaries.com/).

For your Etsy shop, let's talk. I'd be happy to feature it on my blog.

For making the time to create, go read my friend Lori at http://anartistsyearoff.blogspot.com/. She has a thriving jewelry business but is taking this year off to really create. (Hence, the second blog that's all about the process.) One thing she's talked about several times in the past month is how much she wants to accomplish and how she's organizing her time to make it happen.

For your house, break everything down into smaller, more manageable chunks that you can accomplish in 5-15 minutes. Also, go check out the Fly Lady's website for more organizing ideas.

I think that might cover it all. :-)

My January was a little crazy, but I think we got the year off to a good start. We are trying to live simply this year, not just because of cutbacks (DH is working only three days a week now) but we want to lower our impact on the environment. I find myself questioning everything we purchase, bunding up more instead of turning the heat up, and making what I can from scratch.

Last year, I lost my job (one I really loved too) and I've really learned how to do MORE with less. Also, Craigslist has been a big part of that. Any time I feel like I need to shop I check Craigslist first. When I feel like we have things we don't use anymore, I post them on Craigslist so they'll get use. That way I'm reusing and recycling.
This month, I'd really like to finish cleaning out our house. I tackled the mess that is DH's office and started to organize our enormous pile of books. I hope to donate/give away most of the books, make his office useable, and set up a craft area for me.

Also I haven't worked out at all (unless you count all the cleaning) but hopefully I can get that started this month.
