Goodbye Summer and Hello Fall!

I can’t believe summer is already gone. When and how did that happen? These past few months have been all a blur to me. I guess too many things happened this summer and I just as soon would like to forget about them. I can’t wait for the the cool breeze (I think they said this was the hottest summer on record. Global warming, anyone?), fallen leaves, pumpkin pies, and hot apple cider.

So, I went window shopping for some cool green stuff from Etsy in anticipation. (With my son in college, I can ONLY window shop. Sheeeesh….)

Uzura over on etsy has a Hemp Bag with Poppies on it that makes me think of cocoa and caramel.... or the Crimson Fire neckwarmer by DesignKnitFun, however is is 90 degrees where I live today and a neck warmer kind of makes me itch.....but I'm gonna want it when the first snowflake appears.

It's still kinda warm during the day but the mornings and evenings are a little cooler now. So, yeah, before you know it, snowflakes will descend upon us. I'm trying to finish a neck warmer I started last winter too. BTW...I'm off to check out that video about quilting on your blog. That looks interesting. :)

I couldn't help getting excited about the fall just by reading your post. I love the wallet. Ahh for Fall lets see, some traveling is in the horizon as we have been waiting for the weather to get cooler so we can bring Beli along, And I'm resuming my Croatian lessons yipee..

I love to travel in the fall. The crisp chill in the air and the colors are just so breathtaking. I wish you safe travels and hope you take a ton of picture for your blog. I'd love to read about your trips with Beli. :)
