How did I get over here?

Now, I know I said I don’t have green thumb and I might kill a few plant here or there.

But if I tell you I did not, would not, plant a croccus bulb in my grass, would you believe me?

I didn’t think so.

But I swear on my Peonies that I didn’t plant this poor thing, separate from its friends like this.

I may not have green thumb but I am not this cruel to separate my flowering bulb from its friends!!

*I’m still scratching my head.*

Oh, we have squirrels, racoons, deer, wild turkeys, and even coyotes. And we have landscapers too who might have upturned the soil and uprooted the bulbs. But for a bulb to plant itself that far from the original place, survive the harsh winter we just had, AND, not get noticed by the animals long enough to flower like that??? It's amazing. All I can say is, mowing the grass is going to be tough. *Still scratching my head*

I would put my bet on squirrels! I think bulb digging is their favorite pastime!!!

You and all your grass and flowers! So, so jealous. Maybe that crocus was taking it's first steps on its long journey to the frozen tundra of Minnesota to bring me some spring.

Oh dear, poor little crocus! Perhaps a digging cat could be to blame? :3
