Holiday Advertising and Sponsorship Opportunity and Giveaway

Holiday is just around the corner.

If you own a shop on Etsy, you are probably starting to feel the holiday “panic”. And if you are like me, your are preparing your ‘life’ to be put on hold as you juggle to stock your inventory, pack and ship orders, while trying to enjoy the holidays.

So, let me take this opportunity to tell you that for a limited time, I am going to have sponsors and advertising opportunities on my blog so you don’t have to worry about marketing. I am excited to feature your shop and your talents here on ecokaren.

But first, let me tell you something about the blog.

When I blog, I don’t think about numbers or stats. I write about my passion: simple life, handmade, and foods. I review & sponsor green product giveaways, share green-tips, show you how to make awesome handmade things, and feature handmade artists. Once in awhile I’ll cover news and views on green and ethical issues as well as everything related to food, including delicious healthy recipes.

I’ve been blessed with sites that feature my tutorials, linking back to here, and interviews about me and the blog.

And if the stats say anything about my readers, it seems like they like what they read here.

So if you are into numbers and stats, here is today’s snapshot. And I am confident these numbers will change as I receive new subscribers, followers and fans everyday.

Hi there Karen, Chucka Stone Designs carries one of a kind pieces utilizing various faux finishing techniques (which I install in larger quantity inside people's homes as my "day job"), to extend the lifecycle of formerly loved items. I find various bits & pieces at thrift stores, etc, bring them home and spiff them up with a super finish for resale! Specializing in stone (granite, brick, tumbled tile), stripes, various woodgrains and plasters, I love to introduce people to the fact that faux isn't just about splattered paint anymore! Finishes can enhance your life and lifestyle. On top of my faux I enjoy other hobby crafts and sometimes even carry fabric items in my shop like iPod cozy cases, clutches and eye masks created using my own original patterns. Thanks so much for this opportunity! Good luck to everyone entering the giveaway and go Greenies!

Karen, Thank you for the opportunity to enter to win ad space on your blog. I sell organic baby shoes and clothing. I work the way I live, consciously and purposefully. I use all of my fabric scraps as stuffing for my son's stuffed animals. My only waste products are broken needles (haven't come up with a use for them yet). All of my items are shipped in mailing envelopes made from 100% post consumer recycled paper. I put a great deal of thought into all that I create and its impact on the world. I would love the opportunity to be featured on your amazing blog!

I once played a game in which you have to define yourself using 6 words. I chose: Spanish winemaker hates throwing corks away This is why I sell wine cork message boards, wine cork trivets, jewelry hangers and mirrors. Pretty much everything I use to make these items is upcycled, recycled, or repurposed!

Hi there, Thanks for this opportunity! Will keep my fingers crossed! We sell a mixture of pre-loved, vintage goods for the home AND handmade goodies. Our vintage housewares are all beautiful things which have been discarded by their previous owner, We love to help them to find a new home where they will be treasured! So far our handmade goodies are handmade journals and envelopes. We find old boardgames, video games, unwanted books, magazines and vinyl LPs and re-purpose them into journals and envelopes. All paper used in our journals is either recycled or FSC approved. We have plans for more up-cycled goodies soon...
