Day 19: 24 Days of Green Christmas Crafts – Paper Snow Flakes

Christmas is less than a week away folks. If you bought gifts, are you done with wrapping them yet?

Look at this pretty paper snow flake you can make out of any scrap paper. Isn’t this a great way to decorate your gifts?

Howaboutorange has neat tutorials on making snowflakes like this and other more intricate ones that can be used as gift wrapping decoration or to just hang and decorate.

Or, and then, there are these patterns I found on Pinterest.

And these Finnish stars from maggiemakes that remind me of snow flakes.

It’s getting down to the wire so we are taking it easy this week. I hope you are too….taking it easy, that is.

See you tomorrow on Day 20!

Even though I buy gifts all year long at craft shows, museum shops and on my travels, I tend to leave the wrapping until the very last minute. I love the snowflake idea, and will give myself an extra day so that I make some for my packages!

am I done wrapping? bahaha! I laughed so hard I choked on my coffee. Haven't.Even.Started. It's become a Christmas Eve tradition, the frantic wrapping of the gifts. My standard is brown paper with twine and some kind of natural element. I never get sick of it.

It used to be ours too......at midnight, after kids have gone to bed. Now, I don't even bother wrapping them....use bags now, but I love these snowflakes to decorate them with.

I enjoy making these with the kids-- we did some out of old book pages that came out really neat, too. I've enjoyed your craft series! :)

Oh, so glad you are enjoying the series. I love love making snowflakes. And at the end of the holiday, you can connect them all together and make a panel to hang it on your window for the winter! *Note to self: post a picture of it on tomorrow's post*
