Today’s tutorial involves one of my favorite upcycling methods – making yarn out of clothes. Remember my tutorial on how to make fabric yarn out of T-Shirts? Sonya of Kanlestrand makes yarn out of pants to make this adorable fabric bowl.
All you need is an old – yes, that means OLD, not your son’s favorite worn out baggy pants, thinking, he won’t notice it’s missing. Uh-huh. He’s onto you. Don’t even think it.
Where was I? Oh, yeah… you need an old pair of pants that you can’t wear, sharp scissors, and a crochet hook.

I can see using this bowl for paper clips, pony tail holders, change, etc.
