I was recently trained to be certified as an Etsy educator!
This is a huge honor as Etsy picked 15 leaders of different capacity, within the Etsy community, to become special Etsy educators. We are part of a pilot program at Etsy to teach live classes on how to start a shop on Etsy, in the community.
I’ve been dying to tell y’all about this awesome opportunity but had to wait until Etsy announced it yesterday!
I’ve set up classes for this fall at my local community college and my town’s community center and will be setting up more classes through Skillshare.
I have a new site called, Joys of Handmade, so that we, handmakers and hand crafters, can hang out, work together, share ‘DIY’s', feature awesome crafters and shop owners in one site. And I can offer my handmade business consulting services.
So it would be great if you can stop by and say ‘hello’! And while you are there, make sure to sign up for new updates with your email.
Also, ‘like’ Joys of Handmade on Facebook and follow on Twitter. I am still renovating all those digs so pardon the appearances.
I hope you’ll hang with me and continue to support handmade!
