Scott’s Tubeless Toilet Paper vs. Seventh Generation

Scott’s Tubeless Virgin Bathroom Tissues:
SINGLE PLY, 400 sheets per roll, 30 in a pack ——>$19.00

Seventh Generation’s 100% Recycled Bathroom Tissues:
DOUBLE Ply, 300 sheets per roll, 4 in a pack ——> $3.79

Scott’s = .00316 per sheet vs. Seventh Generation = .00313 per sheet.

But Seventh Generation is made with recycled paper and Scott’s isn’t.
Scott’s big news broke last year when it introduced its tubeless toilet paper as being more eco-friendly. I didn’t write about it because, frankly, I didn’t think it was that much of a big deal. If you can make tubeless toilet paper to be eco-friendly, then, why not go the extra mile and make the actual paper from recycled paper? Now if that happened, we have something to write home about.

Sheet for sheet (being careful with spelling here), Seventh Generation makes more sense to me.
